Jamie playford
Director & Licensed insolvency practitioner
Jamie began helping businesses in 1998, working across East Anglia and gaining his insolvency licence in 2009. In 2010 Jamie founded his first insolvency practice, growing it to 20 people and a +£1m turnover before selling it in 2015. Leading Business Services, (Simple Liquidation is part of the Leading group), was formed in 2015, with 4 offices across East Anglia, the Midlands and London, providing business recovery and insolvency solutions to clients across the UK.
Alex Dunton
Licensed Insolvency Practitioner
Alex began his career in London working for a firm specialising in fraud and litigation-led insolvency. After gaining his insolvency licence in 2015, Alex took formal appointments for several practices in East Anglia and Birmingham. Alex joined Leading Business Services (Simple Liquidation) in 2019 and manages several aspects of the business including his own insolvency team.
Chloe Andrews
MANAGER
Chloe started her insolvency career after joining Simple Liquidation in 2017 before previously working in the insurance sector. Chloe specialises in dealing with all employee matters and assists with the firm’s development and training, alongside overseeing a corporate caseload. She is also currently studying for her ICAEW Certificate in Insolvency, due to complete in 2023.
Rosie Debruijn
Finance Manager
Rosie joined business as our Finance Manager in 2020, working closely with the management team and clients to ensure a seamless finance process across all businesses. Rosie is a qualified and knowledgeable within finance and comes with over 15 years’ experience across multiple industries. She supports our team and clients by ensuring all of our finance and treasury facilities are kept up to date and complete.
Lloyd Gilmore
Client Manager
Lloyd has been helping directors and business owners for over 25 years. Initially working with his father in a family-run insolvency firm, Lloyd progressed to partner, and in 2012 the firm merged with a larger accountancy practice. Dealing with both owner-managed and larger entities, Lloyd is well known and respected in the business community in London and wider area.
Brandon Herod
Manager
Brandon began his career in insolvency in 2014 and went on to pass the ICAEW Certificate in Insolvency exam in December 2016. He joined the Simple Liquidation team in 2019 and throughout his career Brandon has managed a portfolio of both corporate and personal insolvency cases. Whilst managing his case work, he also provides individual and group technical training sessions.
Claire Pitt
Business Manager
Claire joined the team in 2020 to support the overall smooth running of the business & assist in the wider development of the organisation. Claire also undertakes marketing activities, including building relationships with other professionals i.e accountants and IFAs, to ensure our clients receive well-rounded, complete advice. Other responsibilities include HR, recruitment, well-being and training.
Aimee Prentice
Senior Client Services
Aimee joined the Simple Liquidation team to ensure clients, professional referrers and other stakeholders receive a professional introduction to the business. She prides herself on really listening to the needs of our clients and other third parties and will always ensure everyone she speaks to receives a consultative and professional service. Aimee has previously owned and run her own business as well as having extensive experience in customer care, recruitment and retail management.
Georgie Sell
MANAGER
Georgie had a long career in business administration and support before joining Simple Liquidation in 2019 to lead the client onboarding team. Georgie undertakes all aspects of regulatory and financial compliance, in addition to ensuring the smooth flow of information with clients and other stakeholders.
DONNA KITSON
MANAGER
Donna joined the Simple Liquidation team in 2023 and brings with her a plethora of insolvency experience. Her insolvency career dates back to 2002, during which time, she has gained the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency qualification and managed a portfolio of both corporate and personal insolvency cases. She adopts a can-do approach to everything she undertakes which has resulted in her receiving commendation from the Insolvency Service in recognition of her work.
